OK, I've seen what's out there for this song, and I'm not too happy with it. I'm not going to worry about arpeggios here (add 'em if you like) but instead am posting a really nice sounding chord-only version (esp. for those with 12-strings!).

The special D (I'll call it D' for short) is easily had by sliding the C up a couple frets. It gives a very melancholy, beautiful sound (you'll hear this on many songs out there, like Man on the Moon by REM). Try this and tell me what you think!
